About ITShare SA Inc

ITShare SA Inc. refurbishes discarded or donated computer parts and peripherals. Our team of volunteers accept donations of computers from businesses, institutions and individuals.

We process them to make accessible, unencumbered open source systems.

For a minimal fee these computers are then made available to low income groups, individuals and communities. Desktop computers are available from $40, and LCD monitors are available for an extra $10 - $30.

Through joint projects with other agencies, we have been able to send systems to overseas communities in need.

To Contact us please visit our Contact page.

Our ABN number is 51 301 610 450.

Spam cleaned up

Hi all, We've had some issues with spam on the ITShare website/wiki over the last month or so. I've gone through and cleaned this up (hopefully). If you had an account which is now blocked, you may have been caught in the mass blocking of spammers. If this has happened, email karl@itshare.org.au and i'll reenable your account.

Moved current events off front page

Hi all, The current events are now on their own page (see the side bar). They are also automatically included on the front page so its easy to find updates.

Fixed links

Hi all, After the website update I forgot to update all the old links, so these would have caused errors. I think I've put redirects in place for most of them now.

I've fixed a few links on this site as well, so hopefully things are "just nicer".
